About us

"Logistics Sourcing & Partners" is – as a part of the Holdings Global Supply Chain Management division – building and further establishing the groups borderless network of contract logistics solutions. This team works truly international on strategic projects shaping MediaMarktSaturn‘s performance driven global logistics network for the years to come.

We are looking for a driven professional to manage strategic logistics sourcing initiatives. In this role you have the opportunity to shape the future of logistics landscape and make an impact on the future international logistics partner network.

Your tasks

  • Drive the compliant strategic sourcing of MMSRG on the international logistics market, i.a. by investigating and analyzing cost developments of markets as well as partners and consequently identifying and initiating savings measures
  • Lead contract logistics tenders and negotiations in alignment with operationally responsible and report results to respective senior and top management
  • Support definition and design of global standard tendering and contracting documents, incl. design of incentive systems
  • Define criteria for preferred logistics partnerships program and subsequently prepare as well as participate in regular business review meetings with strategic logistics partners
  • Contribute to the logistics sourcing strategy, e.g. in regards to defining Sustainability & EHS measures

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in engineering, logistics, law or business administration
  • Several years professional experience in sourcing services for retail or contract logistics
  • Very advanced MS office skills, incl. Think-Cell etc.
  • Ability to clearly communicate to internal and external senior management, including fluent business English
  • German and further languages are beneficial
  • Ability to travel internationally on regular basis
