To this end, several hundred developers, UX designers and system architects using state-of-the-art technology work hand in hand with business owners in agile teams to develop customer-focused technology solutions for more than 6 million customers every day in 14 countries.

Within the Global IT Management division, you are part of a community of practice of BI and analytics experts and work in an agile product team. Within the chapter, you will develop the latest development trends, support the development of a cloud-based analytics platform and work on the implementation of data science use cases (e.g. in the areas of price elasticity modeling, demand forecasting, analysis of in-store traffic data, store modeling) within the MarktSaturn Group.

Our product teams are the central point of contact for the planning, development and operation of our solutions.

Your tasks

  • Requirements engineering together with our business product teams up to technical concepts
  • Prepare proactive analyses to countinously identify areas for improvement in our webshops / modules / components and online product areas and support the business in achieving its goals
  • Define key performance indicator and continously measure these indicators via building dashboards
  • Set up new tracking-concepts for our webshops / modules / components

Requirements

  • Degree in (Business-) Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent
  • Preferable practical experience with data warehouse / data lake systems (e.g. Teradata, Google BigQuery)
  • Knowledge in data-science programming languages like Python or R as well as Proficiency in SQL just as at least one analytical tool / framework (e.g. SAS, KNIME, R, Pandas, Matplotlib, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow) is a plus
  • First experiences with cloud-technologies (preferable Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure), NoSQL database technology
  • Proven knowledge of statistical methods and principles (e.g. A/B/N Testings, regression analysis), as well as in designing and implementing reports and visualizing insights/ results
  • Sound experience in implementing new tracking concepts within web based solutions
